PKEC signs MOU for 30 MW biomass power station in the Philippines

In the Philippines, the Philippine-Korean Renewable Energy Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding with the city of Puerto Princesa to establish a 30 MW biomass facility, that will utilize coconut and coconut waste as feedstock.

The project will establish a coconut plantation 20 miles north of the city in Barangay Santa Cruz.
