Over the past week, Gevo reappeared in the invited selector top 10, while Verenium just missed out on making both top 10s. The big trend this year so far is the advance by companies making drop-in, renewable fuels, with companies such as UOP, BP Biofuels, Amyris and LS9 moving up. 7 of the top 10 on the selectors’ list now have drop-in fuel capabilities. POET, BP Biofuels, Coskata, Solazyme and Sapphire have appeared on both Top 10s in voting to date.
In all, more than 200 companies have received votes in this year’s ballot, to date.
